Washington- The U.S. Small Business Administration(SBA) announced the availability of low interest federal disaster loans to Missouri businesses, private nonprofits and residents to offset physical and economic losses from severe storms, straight-line winds, heavy rains, large hail, flooding and flash flooding occurring July 26-27. The SBA issues a diasater declaration in response to a request received from Gov. Mike Kehoe on Aug. 11.
Beginning Aug 15, SBA customer service representatives will on on hand at the following Disaster Loan outreach Center (DLOC) to answer questions about SBA's disaster loan program, explain the application process and help each individual complete their application. Walk-ins are accepted, but you can schdule and in-person appointment in advance at appointment.sba.gov.
The DLOC hours of operation are: Starting Friday August 15. Monday-Friday 9am-6pm at the 2nd entrance at Elsberry City Hall.
